Memories from Calders

Created by David 6 years ago

Brian on one of Calders regular “drink ups” at the Plumbers Arms (famous for being the pub where Lord Lucan’s wife fled after the notorious night when he attacked the Nanny and her) opposite our old Lower Belgrave Street office.

On exam success or leaving for pastures new we all enjoyed many early Friday evenings where Brian’s conversation and of course many of ours too centred around football and his beloved Eagles.

Brian was a wonderful, kind and generous gentleman in the very best sense of that old phrase that always had a kind word to say about everyone. He looked after me when I first arrived at Calders for which I will always be grateful and I have many happy memories of him when at work and in later years looked forward to seeing him and Doreen at our Christmas lunch.
